For me, no. What I like to do, and I also like to write it doesn’t work well for me. IF you want something that browses the web, do some light reading and such, playing a bit , it might be perfect for you.

When my wife’s laptop dies, I will replace it with an iPad. I may get one for my Mom. I would get one if I could justify it but I have an iPhone and a laptop so I doubt that I will be getting it. I would love to have one to replace my laptop as I am watching TV or movies, as I like to do searches and read webpages about what I am watching. I don’t travel enough that I need anymore than my iPhone and laptop.

I would not get it, it’s a Ipod Touch with a much bigger screen and no exclusive features. Although it looks nice to have, but just wont fall well under a item I’d use on a daily basis considering If you own a laptop or Pc you’d find much more convenient to use for doing what Ipad can do.
